This light-washed bathroom delivers a sense of fresh and calm while functioning on a practical level as an easy-clean, monolithic design, seamlessly sealed in Corian. Its geometric tiles, touches of timber and seamless forms, portray a modern aesthetic that is befitting of the home’s mid-century design.
Warm Rimu veneer highlights, echo timber panelling found throughout the rest of the home. The Corian L-shaped benchtop end is gently curved then repeated opposite in the mirrored cabinet’s L-trim above. Star profiled tap handles were sourced from Hansgrohe to continue the star-like diamond pattern of the tiled walls.
Corian features on the floating vanity top which appears to fall off into the bath surround yet is intentionally separate to create tension. This bath mould subsequently flows seamlessly through into the shower space creating a useful ledge within.
The stream-lined junction between the shower and the bath create the striking monolithic design and thrill the owner with its effortless cleaning.
